Summary

  • performs various systems maintenance functions within the plant to insure that production personnel can produce a quality product while maintaining a high degree of safety
  • reports to assistant plant manager/gm

Essential Functions

  • perform installations and maintenance on
    • structural component(s)
    • electrical system(s) – (110v, 220v, 480v) single and 3-ph
    • plumbing system(s)
    • air compressor(s)
    • air blower(s)
    • temperature control system(s)
    • pump system(s)
    • chiller(s)
    • hvac system(s)
    • hoist system(s)
  • use various hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
  • maintain an inventory of critical spare parts
  • follow the “preventive maintenance program” diligently to reduce production downtime
  • non-safety sensitive position

Other Requirements

  • able to read and write in the english language
  • able to interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • able to lift up to 25lbs
  • vision that is correctable to at least 20/40 (snellen chart standard)
  • exceptional mechanical aptitude
  • must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
